DukeEngage in Vietnam: Summer 09

This is a blog for the Duke students who are participating in the DukeEngage in Vietnam program in summer 09 to share their experiences. We will be spending five weeks in Ho Chi Minh city. While there, we will be working in three different tracks: children's issues, ESL, and the environment. We will then spend four weeks in Ben Tre province. While there, the morning will be dedicated to helping to restore schools while the afternoons will involve running summer camps for the local children.

We've created a facebook page for the little rose shelter as an attempt to help spread the word about the shelter. This page will hopefully also be a way in which the center can update information about the supplies that are needed.
